For the Chicken:

 

  1. 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  2. 2 tbsp olive oil
  3. 1 tsp garlic powder
  4. 1 tsp onion powder
  5. 1 tsp dried oregano
  6. ½ tsp salt
  7. ½ tsp black pepper
  8. 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

For the Garlic Parmesan Sauce:

  1. 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  2. 4 cloves garlic, minced
  3. ½ cup heavy cream
  4. ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  5. 1 tsp fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

Instructions

Prepare the Chicken:

 

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Season the chicken breasts with garlic powder, onion powder, dried oregano, salt, and pepper.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Sear the chicken breasts for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown.
  5. Transfer the chicken to a baking dish.

 

Make the Garlic Parmesan Sauce:

 

  1. In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
  2. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Stir in heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
  4. Add Parmesan cheese and stir until the sauce thickens, about 2-3 minutes.
  5. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.

 

Bake the Chicken:

 

  1. Pour the garlic Parmesan sauce over the seared chicken breasts in the baking dish.
  2. Sprinkle the top of each chicken breast with grated Parmesan cheese.
  3. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).

 

Garnish and Serve:

 

  1. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley (optional).
  2. Serve hot with your favorite side dish.
