- 1 lb ground Italian sausage
- 1/2 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup cooked and crumbled bacon
- 1/2 cup chopped pepperoni slices
- 1/2 cup chopped cooked ham
- 2 cups marinara or pizza sauce
- 1 tablespoon tomato paste
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
- 3 cups cooked rotini or penne pasta
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Fresh parsley or basil for garnish
Instructions
- 1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Lightly grease a 9×13 baking dish.
- 2. Cook sausage and ground beef in a skillet until browned. Drain excess fat.
- 3. Stir in marinara, tomato paste, Italian seasoning, red pepper. Simmer 5 mins.
- 4. Add bacon, ham, half the pepperoni. Stir and remove from heat.
- 5. Combine meat sauce with cooked pasta in a bowl.
- 6. Layer half pasta mix into baking dish, then half the cheeses.
- 7. Add remaining pasta mix and top with rest of cheese and pepperoni.
- 8. Cover with foil. Bake 20 mins. Uncover and bake 10–15 mins more.
- 9. Garnish with parsley or basil and serve hot.
Notes
- Make ahead and refrigerate up to 24 hours.
- Swap pasta for roasted cauliflower for keto version.
- Store leftovers in fridge up to 4 days.
- Freezes well for up to 3 months.
